Paul Uppal: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what recent representations he has received on the development of the PAYE Real Time Information project; and if he will make a statement.
David Gauke (Exchequer Secretary, HM Treasury): Treasury Ministers receive a wide range of representation on tax policy and operational issues. PAYE Real Time Information represents a significant reform to the PAYE system and has therefore been raised by a broad range of stakeholders including the accountancy profession, payroll providers and the banking industry. As was the case with previous administrations, it is not the Government's practice to provide details of all such discussions.
